Since opening his own firm, Alan has been blessed with every type of project imaginable, but his favorite is residential design. The opportunity to work directly with the Client on their home is unlike any other type of design. The opportunity for creativity and the chance to design everything outside of the home is wonderful. Designing pools, fountains, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, stairs, seat walls, fences, gates, walkways, motor courts and all of the other exciting elements that make up a residential design is what Alan dreamt of in College. The challenge of taking a theme and expressing it in the landscape is a wonderful experience, as well. Alan has gotten to design everything from formal English gardens to Polynesian gardens, Tropical, traditional, modern, retro and everything in between.

Alan Holt started his business in 2000 and has been delivering projects on time and on budget for the past 19 years. Alan has been practicing Landscape Architecture for the past 30+ years completing projects throughout the United States. As an experienced and licensed Landscape Architect, we can bring any exterior living space or project to life by combining beautiful design and functionality. Whether it be a beautifully designed garden, a unique pool design, outdoor kitchen or a master plan for the future of your site, let Alan put his years of experience and well thought out design to work for you and your project. Involving a Landscape Architect early in your project will create a design that will enhance your project, save you money and be beautiful and functional now and in the future. We will work with you and your Building Contractor, Architect or Engineering firm if desired, to ensure the exterior design is incorporated correctly into your project. Are you insured and licensed?

We have all necessary residential and commercial licenses required as well as insurance for all of our Landscape Architecture projects.

What kind of landscaping do you do?

We can do all styles of landscaping, but our specialty is in mixing non-native and native plants to make a landscape that meets your needs and fits the ecology of our area. The plant palette along 30A, South Walton and across the panhandle of Florida is unique and local knowledge is essential. For our commercial projects and corporate clients, we work across the US in many different municipalities where we interpret code for different environments, soil types and climates to meet the codes and local plant palettes.
